5 Items I enjoyed preparing this last week - November 13, 2018

Not Fancy, Just Fresh. 

In the years past working for chains... One smaller upscale chain was unique. I learned by Witnessing the approach of starting with premium quality ingredients and then focusing on what not to put on the plate vs making it fancy, in a fancy establishment. What made this approach unique was that it was a chain of Fancy establishments. This is, and was really inspiring. 

Our current location isn't fancy, being a 75 year old neighbourhood spot; truly this location has its own history before the Tipper and we recognize this gift. We also believe nothing is a given these days and need to earn the neighbourhoods visits while doing our best to contribute to the locations positive legacy.  

We wash and trim real veggies, potatoes and proteins and will fresh (run out) out of products from time to time to ensure a fresh start. 

These are 5 items that I have enjoyed preparing this last week.
