Treble In Paradise presents The Debutones Nov 6. Doors 6:30 concert 7pm

Treble in Paradise presents
THE DEBUTONES
in concert on Sunday November 6
at the Tipper Review Room
(2066 Kingsway, at Victoria)
Admission $20
Door opens at 6:30, Concert at 7:00
The Debutones excel at bringing to light hidden gems of  roots-based
songs with compelling stories and beautiful melodies––some country,
some folk, and some bluegrass. The ‘Tones’ love and command of the
music they play come through in every song being delivered with their
signature vocal harmonies and stellar instrumental work.

Debby Nagusky and Don Share had been singing duets for
over two decades before they were joined by three of the
Pacific Northwest’s finest musicians to form the Debutones.
Adding to Debby and Don's vocals and guitar work are
Greg Glassman, vocals and bass; Julian Smedley, vocals,
violin, and viola; and Bob Knetzger, Dobro and banjo.

“Where art and magic happens”. Jim Nunally

“Delightful … The arrangements are instrumentally and vocally solid.
A nice new project from this Northwest group.”
Bluegrass Unlimited, Feb. 2016

Treble in Paradise... 3 Fiddles, 3 Traditions. Feb 11. Doors 7:15, Show 8pm.

Treble in Paradise Concerts presents
3 FIDDLES, 3 TRADITIONS
on Thursday February 11,
at the Tipper Review Room,
2066 Kingsway (at Victoria Drive)
Ruthie Dornfeld is a Seattle resident who plays fiddle with big tone, fierce rhythm and fluid style.  She has a wildly eclectic repertoire informed by a range of traditional styles including Irish, American Old-time, Scandinavian and Eastern European.  Find out more at  www.ruthiedornfeld.com

Kristian Bugge hails from Denmark where he is a major force in the music community and has been the recipient of numerous  awards for his work.  For more information see
http://www.kristianbugge.com

Jaime Fox is a native of Montana who is renowned for her command of Metis fiddle music, a tradition that mixes  Celtic, French, and Native American music cultures. Her efforts to learn from the elder masters revitalized a tradition that was on the wane.

Although these three artists have very diverse cultural backgrounds, all of them were drawn to the fiddle at a very young age, all have pursued very advanced study of the instrument, and all now play major roles in their musical communities.  We are blessed to have them share their talents with us--expect an exceptional evening of music.

Admission $20.  Doors open at 7:15.  Concert starts at 8:00.  Seating is limited– reservations available at davelidstone@shaw.ca

What a fabulous little restaurant. Glorious food, fantastic portion sizes and didn't want to stop eating. The naughty & nice poutine was amazing and the chicken wings were so tasty. We also got dessert and it was also amazing. I got the apple crumble and my gf got the chocolate caramel cake, definitely worth keeping some room for . This is a must visit and is great value for money. Fantastic atmosphere very chilled and relaxed, great friendly service. Really impressed with this little restaurant.
