You are right, and it's Agreed this isn't a flashy restaurant website - quite possibly the worst website ever! This blog is more for updating events for those who check us out.

The Tipper concept is simple, it isn't about the flash, or being fancy - just fresh... in a 50 + year old location.

We choose to prepare everything in house such as our sauces & dressings, hand cut breakfast potatoes & fries, as well as produce & proteins, the informational blog too. We are a small community driven diner that focuses 98% of its time on the quality products we serve to happy people, with a return to "slow food". No celebrity chefs here. Although a Tipper Restaurant website is being built, this blog is more for the events side of things showcasing a few of the artists & singer songwriters who have enjoyed our review room.

The Tipper's menu will change every few months to reflect the best of the season. Look for it! in the near future we will have links to the menu. Until then please send us a e-mail or call and we will fax it or e-mail it to you.

Input is valued at the Tipper! A few of the most popular menu items were inspired from suggestions by guests who frequent The Tipper.

The Tipper has been more than generous to the Jerks over the last almost year. We highly recommend you take a trip to 2066 Kingsway in Vancouver to check it out.

When you get there, ask for Colin and tell him you are a Jerk. Quote your favorite line from a Jerks video and you will get a free “strange look”. Seriously, lets support the little guy and spread the word.

How for now : 100% of the door ( if charged ) or sale of any painting / art goes to the artist, the event organizer or host. The tipper restaurant provides the space with a little support in spreading the word.

WE ARE: a cozy little restaurant where you are likely to run into old friends. Fresh food, & refreshing drinks, a place where we will tell you about it - not try to sell you on it!

LOCATED: ONLY - 8 min from Metrotown, 10 min from downtown. still can't find the restaurant... follow the happy faces! ;)

PARKING: LOTS OF IT! The groups that were taking all the spots are done for the season! Park right out front... If you can find parking down town - Parking at the tipper is a piece of cake, and FREE!

The Funny Show is now on Thursday nights at the tipper! The fun kicks off at seven pm with an improv troupe, then The Funny Show starts at 8pm.
